Since hitting our screens in 2005, The Apprentice has been a huge fan favourite – and one thing that gets viewers talking every year is how early the contestants have to get up each week.
The entrepreneurs, who all live together in an incredible house for the duration of the series, are woken up by a ringing telephone and have to get ready quickly.
In an exclusive chat with The Sun, Sian has shared all the behind-the-scenes secrets that fans are dying to hear about – including the iconic wake-up call.
Sian said: “The person on the end of the line, I’m not sure. It’s just generic…
“But the person that answers it, we all hear the phone ring, it is just whoever gets there first.
“I think I answered it and I didn’t particularly want to because I didn’t want to look like I’d just got out of bed!”
The contestants have to get ready in a matter of minutes – and Sian has revealed how she managed to look so glamorous.
“It’s a good time if you’ve got five minutes because you’d have that many people in the house, what 15 of you, if they had you’d be like…
“Okay, well, I’m gonna jump in the shower, do my make-up, do my hair, especially for girls and I’ve got Afro hair, I needed to try and straighten my hair, literally do something in five minutes,” she said.
“You literally didn’t get that much time and that was a genuine get ready, jump in the shower, do your make-up and get downstairs and be ready to leave the door.
“To be honest, by the end I used to, I’m an early bird anyway, so sometimes I got up early, get a bit ready, sort my life out a little bit and get back into bed!”
In 2018 Sian bagged herself the £250,000 investment into her bespoke swimwear company and became business partners with Sir Alan Sugar.
Since then Sian has changed the brand into SNME The Label, a lounge wear range which boats 62.2k followers on Instagram.
