The cast of Stranger Things just got even bigger after four recurring stars were added to season four.

The Netflix series will welcome Anne with an E’s Amybeth McNulty, Queen Sugar’ Myles Truitt, Queen of the South’s Regina Ting Chen and The Village star Grace Van Dien in upcoming episodes.

They’ll join the likes of Winona Ryder, David Harbour, Finn Wolfhard and Millie Bobby Brown on the show, which is currently in production in Atlanta.

We also know which characters they’ll be playing in the upcoming instalments, after Netflix unveiled the news at the Geeked Week event.

Amybeth will play Vicky, a fast-talking cool girl who catches the eye of one of the heroes of the show, while Myles will take on the role Patrick, who is a Hawkins basketball star.

Regina will play teacher Ms Kelly, while Grace joins the series as Chrissy, who is the lead cheerleader and most popular girl at Hawkins High with a dark secret.

Anticipation is high after production began once again on the show, following a long delay during the coronavirus pandemic.

It comes after David Harbour let slip a major season four filming update, revealing that he’s almost done filming Hopper’s scenes.

We were also recently blessed with a completely chilling teaser, which brought us back to the Rainbow Room, where Eleven was experimented on and raised.

Plot details are currently under wraps, but recent set photos have also sparked fears of a huge death.

The images show cast and crew members gathered at the cemetery, and it could spell bad news for the residents of Hawkins.

Stranger Things season four is expected to return to Netflix in 2021.
