However, the fact that US fans have seen the whole series already has made it difficult for the UK fans to interact on social media without seeing spoilers as everyone is using the same hashtag.
So after just one episode, many have already seen comments and stories about the key moments in the series, including the dramatic season four finale.
It left many fans in the UK upset, with one writing: “This is the first time Twitter has spoiled #HandmaidsTale for me and I’m not happy. Twitter, don’t do this to me!”
Another added: “In the uk and clicked on this and already seen a spoiler, keeping away.”

That isn’t the only thing UK fans have been annoyed about, as plenty of others took issue with the amount of adverts that popped up during Sunday’s episode on Channel 4.
Taking to Twitter, one wrote: “Channel 4 must of paid some serious cash for #HandmaidsTale but they giving it a good go at regaining the money with the f***in adverts. #toomuch. I’d rather 1 longer break. way too much stop/start.”
Another added: “Forgot how good the #HandmaidsTale soundtrack is. Great drama but too many adverts interrupting the flow of the story.”
