The major supermarket has slashed the price of the fryer from £59 to just £39 this week.
It is selling the Scoville 4.3L Digital Air Fryer for over £90 less than a Ninja equivalent and has people raving about it on social media.
Posting on the Money Saver Bargain Hunters Facebook page, one man said: “If the Aldi queue is too big for you online, then you can get this 4.3L Digital Air Fryer for cheaper at ONLY £39.”
It comes as Aldi brought back its bargain air fryer this week for pre-orders online – it costs £39.99.
The post was met with over a hundred comments from excited shoppers saying they have just ordered the Asda fryer.
The Scoville fryer allows up to 500g of food to be cooked at once.
It comes with eight pre-set cooking modes including fries, meat, fish, snacks, and cakes.
As well as an adjustable temperature range of 85-200C, it also has a 60-minute timer.
There are hundreds of reviews for the fryer, with one saying: “Great item, bought for my daughter plenty big enough for three, purchased in the sale too, fantastic value.”
The air fryer is currently in stock online and is also being sold in Asda stores too.
Stock does of course vary from store to store and at this price, it may not be around for long.
You can find your closest Asda using the store locator tool on its website, you could also phone ahead to check stock levels to avoid disappointment.
When ordering online always make sure to factor in delivery prices too.
Air fryers have really gained popularity over the past few months, and there can be some expensive alternatives.
Possibly the most popular brand for air fryers is Ninja, but it’s similar sized 3.8L fryer costs £129.99 so can be a bit of an investment.
That’s why shoppers love alternatives like the Scoville and at that price who can blame them.
This is the cheapest price we could find for this model, but as always do have a shop around – there’s never a bad time to bag a bargain.
We found the same make and model listed on eBay for £89 and another for £59.99.
There are similar sized air fryers from different brands like Aldi’s as well.
We also found Wilko is selling the Tower Black Vortx Manual 4.3L Air Fryer for £95.
As always before you commit to a purchase, you should shop around to make sure you’re getting the best deal.
Use price comparison tools like Google Shopping to find similar products from other retailers and compare prices.
Air fryers can be a great alternative to an oven as under the current price cap, using one for 15 minutes costs just 13p.
It comes as energy bills are still heavily on everyone’s minds, and people have turned to plug in devices to save their cash.
