Ex-President Donald Trump’s former personal lawyer Rudy Giuliani has been sued by a woman alleging sexual harassment and abuse.
Noelle Dunphy, 43, claims that Giuliani ‘sexually harassed (her) and demanded sexual favors’ when she worked for him on business development from 2019 to 2021.
‘Rudolph W Giuliani, the former US Attorney, once hailed as “America’s Mayor,” is a sexist sexual predator and abuser,’ Dunphy wrote in a New York Supreme Court summons filed on Wednesday.
Dunphy alleges that Giuliani’s divorce led him to ‘abuse’ drinking and that he made racist and anti-Semitic comments in ‘confused and hostile alcohol-laced tirades’.

She also claims that Giuliani fired her without sufficiently compensating her and that he demanded that she refrain from speaking about their connection.
‘At these times, Giuliani threatened (Dunphy) with further retaliation if she did not stay silent, stating that his private investigators and political connections to President Trump enabled him to retaliate in other ways, express and implied,’ states the summons.
The summons seeks a trial by jury and $3.1million in compensatory damages.
Dunphy, a business consultant and writer, told the Daily Beast that ‘it began with Rudy as my boss and lawyer and later turned romantic’.

Giuliani’s attorney Robert Costello said the former New York City mayor ‘categorically denies all of the allegations of this frivolous complaint’ and that Dunphy ‘never worked for any Giuliani entity’.
‘These are libelous allegations drafted by an individual with no lawyer, because no lawyer would associate themselves with this nonsense,’ said Costello.
‘Unfortunately, when you are in the public eye, you become a target for these predators. Any cursory due diligence will reveal that this person is not truthful and any publication of these lies will be purely malicious on the part of your publication.’

Costello did not comment on whether Giuliani and Dunphy had a romantic relationship.
Giuliani joined Trump’s personal legal team in April 2018. He infamously helped Trump push conspiracy theories in the 2020 presidential election.
In February 2021, Trump adviser Jason Miller said Giuliani was ‘not currently’ representing Trump ‘in any legal matters’.
